Stand 3 — First Competitions — «Overcoming» Tournament — Sambo for Everyone! Student Social Project — 2012

And for the blind, it became the basis for development, with each tournament the number of participants increased. Video footage from our «Overcoming» tournaments was shown to the commission when the decision was made and was made to recognize Blind Sambo and Deaf Sambo as official sports disciplines in Russia». Sambo is a very democratic sport, everyone can find themselves in it, the desire and readiness to go to the goal, to overcome difficulties, despite the disability are important. Now there are competitions in which almost anyone can try their hand, who may have once practiced Sambo, and then lost their health. Or started training not so long ago. Sambo is available to everyone!» The author of the idea and the project manager, the tournament organizer Roman Novikov.
